Phnom Penh៖ Phnom Penh Crown midfielder Ideguchi Masaaki has underlined the necessity of team training as he believes it can bring back his side momentum ahead of the possible re-start of the Metfone Cambodian League.
The Red Singha are hopeful to win the Metfone Cambodian League title this season after they last won it in 2015. Sum Vanna’s side have a sensational start as they grabbed four wins and a draw from five matches to top the table.
Ideguchi Masaaki told camsports.org: “We need time to train together to get ready for the return of the league because we have to get our condition back ahead of the re-start of the league.
“Almost everyday, I am doing some exercises myself. I’m doing exercise regular. Yes of course, I think we can do a great job again, and for that I think we have to make a good condition, good communication among the team, and good tactic.”
The former Visakha midfielder also revealed his routines during the suspension of all football events due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Japanese added: “I was learning English a little bit, reading books, and calling with family and friends, and finally I really appreciate to be able to play football. I hope that we can return to normal life soon.”
