Phnom Penh៖ Anderson Zogbe reckons his Boeung Ket fellow Chan Vathanaka as one of the best strikers in the Metfone Cambodian League.
The center-back faced Chan Vathanaka when he was at NagaWorld, and he said that he improved his defending skills when facing the Cambodia international striker.
The duo has now played at Boeung Ket after the 24-year-old completed his transfer move to join the three-time champions of Cambodia from NagaWorld this season.
Anderson Zogbe told camsports.org: “For me, Chan Vathanaka is very difficult to defend against. He is a player who has all in all – very good ball on the foot, very fast and intelligent in the games. Facing a player like Chan Vathanaka in a football game teaches you to be very focused and to be cautious, and you can improve your defending skills a lot.
“To defend in front of the attackers, you need a lot of patience, and you also need to be very fast and have good physical conditions.”
