Phnom Penh៖ Sou Yaty has an incredible career after he won four Metfone Cambodian League titles with three different clubs and the Hun Sen Cup when he was at Tiffy Army back in 2010.
The Cambodia international goalkeeper won his first league title in 2014 when he played for six-time champions Phnom Penh Crown.
He went on to clinch his second and third league trophies in 2016 and 2017 with Boeung Ket before making a surprising transfer move to join NagaWorld where he secured his fourth league title in 2018.
Hard work and the support from teammates are keys for the 28-year-old to maintain his form and become the first-option goalkeeper at three different powerhouses in Cambodia’s top flight.
The NagaWorld goalkeeper told camsports.org: “It’s incredible in my football career that I can win the league title four times with three different clubs, and this has always motivated me to continue my hard work to help my current club [NagaWorld] win another trophy.
“I can maintain my form for many seasons because during each training session I always train hard. I also have individual training, meaning that I have a strong training. I’m getting old, so I must train harder. I never forget to mention the help from my teammates. With these reasons, I can keep my form consistent for many seasons.”
