Tehran៖ Cambodia face Iran in their third Group C match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers second round at the Azadi Stadium tonight as Felix Dalmas insists that the KoupreyBlues have no fear to take on one of the best teams in Asia as it is a good opportunity for them to face the better side.
The Argentinian coach reckons the tie with Iran as a good experience for Cambodia as it will be a big test for them against the Asian giants, and they are ready to do everything it takes to bring out the positive results.
Speaking to yesterday’s pre-match press conference, the 31-year-old said: “It will be a good chance for us to test ourselves as they are a very strong team in Asia. Hopefully, it is another step for us based on our plan to develop Cambodian football.
“Iran are a tough side, but we have our own and clear philosophy of football. We will try to do our best against all the teams we face, and this is the most important thing for us.
“The game against Iran will be a good opportunity for us to improve the potential of our football. We want to compete, and this is the reason we are here. We know the different qualities of both teams, but we will try our best.”
