Phnom Penh៖ Asia Euro United returned to team training for the first time on Monday last week after the Metfone Cambodian League was suspended due to the Covid-19 crisis that saw team training restricted to fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
Sok Veasna revealed his concerns over Asia Euro United players’ energy and tactical aspect after assessing their performance during training.
Sok Veasna told camsports.org: “During our first week of training in group, we had some problems related to the players’ energy and tactical aspect. We need more time to train together as we didn’t train together for a long time.
“We have a friendly match each week. We don’t have a full training schedule yet, and I think we need time to deal with the problems we are facing. We also have some injury concerns ahead of the restart of the league.
“I think our players are not much concerned with Covid-19, but we won’t underestimate the situation. We will have regular games early next month, and it is not too soon or too long to wait for. We will give our all for the club.”
