Phnom Penh៖ Phnom Penh Crown midfielder admitted that he misses football in every moment after the Metfone Cambodian League was suspended due to the Coronavirus crisis.

The Colombian joined the Red Singha this season and has soon established himself as one of the club’s important players for their impressive league start.

Sum Vanna’s side top the Metfone Cambodian League table with four wins and a draw from their first five matches to prove themselves as real title challengers this season.

Andres Nieto told camsports.org: “Life without football has been complicated, and it is difficult not to be able to do what we like the most and what we know best to do.

“I miss it every second and every moment since it is my career and my passion, and it is the only thing I do. Football is in my mind, and all the time I ask myself when this virus crisis is over, so I can go to the stadium again.

“I am training at home thoroughly and following the training agenda that my club has sent me.

“Yes, it is the first time that I experience something this way. I feel very bad because I see many people suffer from the virus. I feel very powerless not to be able to do my daily tasks.

“I hope everyone is very well. They need to be a little patient, and soon everything will return to normal, so they will be able to enjoy football again. I miss them”
