Phnom Penh៖ Masaaki Ideguchi believes that Phnom Penh Crown’s brilliant start to the Metfone Cambodian League this season has resulted from great team effort in both defense and attack.
The Red Singha are unbeaten in their opening five Metfone Cambodian League matches with four wins and a draw with defending champions Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng.
Sum Vanna’s side have scored seventeen goals and kept five clean sheets in a row, which could be their best ever league start in the club’s history.
The Japanese midfielder told camsports.org: “We have a good start, and I feel our team is growing up game by game. I think our performance is great, and my performance is not bad. I never forget our supporters, and I really appreciate all of their great support.
“As a result of having fighting spirits and playing hard together with all players in the team, I think we could defend and attack together.
“I don’t think about record, but we have to keep going to make us stronger. I’m hoping for a good preparation for every game, fighting with all of my teammates, and finally getting the title.”
