Phnom Penh៖ Cambodia welcome Mongolia in an international friendly match at the National Olympic Stadium tomorrow as it will be the KoupreyBlues’ last home match of the year.

Felix Dalmas has called on the supporters to come and show their support to the team as he believes it can give the players more energy and boost the team confidence during the last home match.

The Cambodia coach reckons Mongolia as similar opponents as Hong Kong, whom Cambodia face in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers on November 19, so that will give his side a good preparation for the competitive match.

Speaking to this morning’s pre-match press conference, the Argentinian said: “We know Mongolia is a bit similar team to Hong Kong, so it will be a good preparation for us and for them as well.

“We hope to play our system, and they are really good opponents for us to play against.

“It’s the last home game, so I hope everybody will come out to watch the team. The players are training seriously hard to perform well and make a good game.

“As always, playing at home is good for us, and I believe that it’s just an experience for the players. We have young players, so in the next few years it will be a good experience for them.

“You know playing at home we can have the big advantage from the people who give us energy and strength.

“We play for the people of Cambodia, so please come to support the team. We will do our best to make you happy. We need to be together, and we will take this energy to Hong Kong.”
