Svay Rieng៖ This season should be the greatest year for Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng as they are set to win double after clinching the league championships and reaching the Hun Sen Cup final, where they face Boeung Ket, so Soeuy Visal said it exceeded his expectation.
The Svay Rieng side have won the Metfone Cambodian League title this season, and they lifted the trophy last night following a 6-1 win over Asia Euro United in their last home match of the season.
They claim their second league title in the club’s history and are just one match away from invincible as they face last year’s champions Naga World in their final league match.
The Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng skipper told camsports.com: “I’m very happy, very excited that we win the league this season. We work really hard this season, and it paid off.
“We are very proud of our achievement as we always work hard together. The management team and players have worked hard for the club.
“We even train hard individually to improve ourselves and the team. We always follow our formation, and we will always try to improve from game to game and for next season, too.
“It’s an incredible season for us, and it exceeds our expectation. We are one game away from being invincible this season. It’s unbelievable.
“I would like to dedicate the league trophy to my late father, my family, and especially my mother because they always go to the games to support me. I can’t thank our supporters enough for spending their time to support us at the stadium.
“We have a great season, and I’m very proud of the team for our achievements. We have won the league and reached the Hun Sen Cup final.”
